Will the VTA1000 VoIP Gateway work with any long distance
service? A. The VTA1000 is designed to work with SIP and IAX2 compliant VoIP networks. Special versions of the VTA1000 has also been developed for use with Skype and NetZero Voice. |

from http://fwd.pulver.com ? A. Yes. You will need the SIP version of the VTA1000 for this service. It has been tested and works with both dialup and broadband Internet connections. This service allows to make unlimited free phone calls to other Free World Dialup users. You may also receive calls from users with regular phones. If you use the Free World Dialup service you may currently obtain a free incoming phone number from http://www.ipkall.com . |

What type of call quality should I expect from my VTA1000
VoIP Gateway? A. As long as the Internet connection speed you are using is not impaired your call will sound similar to one placed from a mobile phone to both you and the person you are calling. |

Do I need to touch anything on my computer to place
Phone-Phone calls? A. No. You just pick up your telephone handset and call as you normally would with any regular home or office telephone. For clarification, there is no dialer or softphone involved in placing your calls. The VTA1000 will even automatically dial up an Internet connection for you when you lift your telephone handset if a connection is not already present. |

Is there any limit to the number of FREE long distance
Phone-PC calls I can make and receive? A. No. You may place your VTA1000 VoIP Gateway in manual mode and use it as a simple audio device. Just place or accept your call using your preferred PC communication program like Windows Messenger, NetMeeting, etc... and pick up your telephone to talk as normal. This service is of course even more convenient if both parties have a VTA1000 VoIP Gateway installed. |

Will any type of Internet connection work with my VTA1000
VoIP Gateway? A. Yes. Any type of Internet connection will work including dialup modem, leased line, DSL, cable modem and LAN as long as the speed and throughput of it is at least 19.2 kbps. |

Online) account? A. Yes. The VTA1000 will work with both dialup modem and broadband AOL accounts. |

provider blocks certain ports in an attempt to prohibit
Internet telephone calls? A. Yes - the VTA1000 is designed to cope with these situations and it should work. Please contact us if this is the case as a special configuration may be required to circumvent this type of situation. |

telephone? A. Yes. There is absolutely no need to be tied to your PC to place and receive calls. |

May I use my VTA1000 VoIP Gateway from behind a router
NAT/Firewall ? A. Yes. You may however need to open up a few ports on your firewall if it is not VoIP friendly depending on the type and current settings of NAT firewall you have installed. |

May I listen to music or work on my computer at the same
time I am placing a call with my VTA1000 VoIP Gateway? A. Yes - as long as your computer has adequate processing power to do so. Most of the latest model computers can handle this with no problem. |

May I use my VTA1000 to provide service to customers from
an International Call Center? A. Yes. Many ITSP's also allow you to view your call records online from their website or alternatively announce the remaining calling balance at the beginning of each call. We also have a VoIP Gateway FXS to FXO Port Converter product available that will allow the VTA1000 VoIP Gateway to be directly connected to a local PSTN telephone line to provide prepaid phone card services to the general public so they may place calls from any touchtone telephone. |
